Okay, so I have been playing around with a few ideas. There will still be some unbalanced situations, but that's okay. I've only played around with the damage idea, and it is working out okay. The other question is how to handle critical hits and abilities. An Ogor Breacher attacking a Plainsrunner would do 8 damage! If it was an enemy Iron Legionaire attacking your Plainsrunner, they would subtract 1 attack for having equal strength and toughness, and still do 1 damage. So a Plainsrunner attacking an Iron Legionaire would have 2 attacks subtracted, so they only get 1 attack that would do 1 damage. After that, you simply do as much damage as their base number times the number of attacks. If it is equal, they will lose 1 attack, and if it's less, they will lose 2 attacks. If the enemy's strength is greater than your model's toughness, then they will use all their attacks. When you are being attacked by an enemy model, you will take a look at the number of attacks it has, as well as the difference between toughness and strength. The way I thought of doing it was like this. Since all models have a large pool of hit points, I think this can be done. Most good solitaire games that I like will have the enemies do a set amount of damage. By that I mean if you are controlling the enemy, you don't roll to hit your own dudes and damage them. One thing I like in solitaire games is when you don't roll against yourself. I wanted to get some more ideas on what could be done with it. I've brainstormed a few ideas, and I've seen some here on the subreddit.

It would be nice if there were rules for solitaire play. I've done that with other games, but it does get kind of monotonous. The rest of the time I am just playing both sides myself. I've maybe gotten in 2 games in the last month with an actual person. I haven't really played it too much with anyone. I'm enjoying painting and playing around with everything in the game.
